ABOUT THE ROLE

As the Go Study Local Marketing Specialist for the French market, you will drive marketing actions in close collaboration with the France Country Manager and the Global Marketing Manager. You will coordinate with local stakeholders to manage expectations and implement an efficient marketing plan.

You will design and deliver engaging campaigns across various channels to generate new leads, engage existing communities, and support our sales team. Your focus will be on targeting international students and travellers in France and supporting global marketing initiatives.

Responsibilities include planning and executing the digital marketing strategy to maximise lead acquisition, engagement, and customer retention in France. You will also support customer engagement strategies (digital and physical) and lifecycle nurturing.

Besides having a strategic approach to planning digital marketing activities, the role will involve hands-on content creation to support campaign delivery.

This position is ideal for a marketing all-rounder who enjoys working across multiple platforms and finding new innovations. You will be supported by graphic designers, social media experts, and SEO/SEM specialists within the organisation, but you will also be involved in creating and setting up campaigns, workflows, and initiatives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design and execute a digital marketing strategy to maximise lead acquisition.
  • Develop a content marketing strategy according to the directives of the Global Marketing Manager
  • Collaborate with the Social Media Manager to drive new leads and optimise community building across our French customer base.
  • Optimise the lead nurturing and engagement process by working with the Lifecycle Manager to deliver engaging content through different life stages of our leads and customers.
  • Create reports and analyses of marketing campaign metrics and discuss them with relevant managers.
  • Support the Go Study community engagement strategy to increase brand awareness and drive sales.
  • Support the sales team with innovative marketing opportunities and raise GSA awareness and reputation within the local community.
  • Adhere to the Go Study Australia branding guidelines and strategy.
  • Schedule a local activities calendar with the Country Manager and develop a strategy to sustain it.
  • Schedule a local offers calendar with the Country Manager, supporting it with local strategy and promoting synergy between the marketing and sales departments.

KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • French mother tongue
  • Excellent English level (C1 – C2)
  • At least 5 years of experience in digital marketing
  • Formal education in Marketing or a related field
  • Demonstrated knowledge of digital marketing principles, community management, campaign management, lead nurturing, email marketing, and campaign creation
  • Knowledge of CMS (such as WordPress)
  • Excellent copywriting skills
  • Extensive social media knowledge, awareness, and passion
  • Experience with advertising campaigns
  • Preferred knowledge of marketing automation tools such as HubSpot
  • Ability to create engaging content according to brand identity guidelines
  • Experience living, studying, working, or travelling in Australia
  • Experience in the education abroad market
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Great attention to detail

  • A passion for out-of-the-box solutions
